AI Avatar Videos with Lip Sync

Hook Studio is an AI reel studio that puts a consistent AI avatar, or you, in short videos for TikTok and Instagram, for founders and brands who want a face on camera without filming. Pick who's in the reel, write what they say, and Hook Studio keeps the same face in every shot. The person can speak the line in the clip's own voice, or a clip can be lip-synced to a voice recording.

Three ways to cast the person in your reels

You can star in it yourself, describe an avatar once, or pick a face from the premade cast.

Whichever you choose, the same face shows up in every shot.

  • You. Upload a few photos of yourself. Hook Studio keeps your face the same in every shot, so you're in the reel without filming it.
  • Your avatar. Describe a person once, like “late 20s, curly hair, gym clothes”. Save the avatar, and the same face shows up in every reel.
  • Premade cast. Pick a ready-made face and start right away.

How your avatar talks: its own voice or AI lip sync

There are two ways to make the person speak: in the clip's own voice, or lip-synced to a voice recording.

In the Draftwell reel, she says her line in the clip's own voice, with no separate lip sync.

  • In the clip's own voice. The video model says the line as it makes the clip. It's one step, so it's the cheaper path. Keep each talking clip to about 8 seconds or less, and split a longer line across two shots.
  • Lip-synced to a recording. When the voice has to be a specific recording, the clip is made silent and then lip-synced to that audio. That's two steps, and you see both prices before either one starts.

Who it's for

For anyone who needs a person on camera in their reels, but not a film crew.

  • Founders who don't want to film every day. Upload a few photos once and be in your reels without turning on a camera.
  • Brands that need one consistent face. The same avatar across a series of reels, your ads, and your product demos.
  • Teams testing hooks. The same person says a new line, so you compare only the hook.

How to make an AI avatar video in Hook Studio

  1. 1

    Pick who's in the reel

Upload a few photos of yourself, describe an avatar once and save it, or pick a face from the premade cast.

  2. 2

    Write what they say

You don't film anything: you describe the scene and what you say, and confirm the plan.

  3. 3

    Approve the still

The agent makes a still first, for 11 credits. Steer it in short lines, and the edit keeps the person and the scene.

  4. 4

    Get the clip

A clip is made only from a still you like. The person can say the line in the clip's own voice, or the clip is made silent and lip-synced to a voice recording, with both prices shown before either one starts. A failed clip refunds its credits.

  5. 5

    Download and post

You download the bundle and post it yourself in TikTok or Instagram.

What to expect on pricing

Hook Studio is pay as you go from $5, and your first $5 costs $3. Plans are $20, $50, or $100 a month for 2,300, 5,800, or 11,500 credits, and you can cancel any time. A talking clip in its own voice is one step; a clip plus lip sync is two, and you see both prices before either one runs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make an AI avatar of myself?
Upload a few photos of yourself, and Hook Studio keeps your face the same in every shot. You don't film anything: you describe the scene and what you say, confirm the plan, and Hook Studio makes the stills and the clips.
Can my AI avatar talk?
Yes: your avatar can say its line in the clip's own voice, or a silent clip can be lip-synced to a voice recording. The clip's own voice is one step and works best in clips of about 8 seconds or less. For a longer line, split it across two shots.
What is AI lip sync, and when do I need it?
AI lip sync matches a person's mouth to an audio track, and you need it only when the voice has to be a specific recording. If the person can speak in the clip's own voice, skip it: that's one step instead of two, so it costs less. When you do use lip sync, you see the price of the clip and the lip sync together before either one starts.
How much does an AI avatar video cost?
You pay in credits for the stills and clips in each reel, from $5 pay as you go, and you see each clip's price before it runs. Your first $5 costs $3. Plans are $20, $50, or $100 a month, and a clip that fails gives your credits back.
