AI reel maker

The AI reel maker that makes the whole reel, not one clip

Hook Studio is an AI reel maker that makes finished vertical reels for Instagram and TikTok for apps, online stores, local businesses, coaches, and creators. You describe the reel in a chat. The agent makes the AI hook, the on-screen text, your product's screens, the end card, the cut, and the caption, and changes any of it when you steer in plain words. A 5-second hook costs 107 credits, about $0.93 on the Concept plan.

What an AI reel maker should make: every part of the reel

Hook Studio makes every part of a 15 to 20 second reel, not only the AI clip. AI video goes into the hook, the first 4 to 6 seconds; the rest is built like a real edit, so it costs a few credits instead of another clip.

  • The hook. A 4 to 6 second AI clip made from a still you approved. It runs on Kling 3 at 1080p by default, or on another model you pick under the message box.
  • On-screen text. Big hook words, caption lines, meme text, or TikTok-style labels, kept off faces and inside the app's safe zone.
  • Your product at work. Your app's screens, a chat on a phone or in Slack, a live call, a document that fills in, or a table with a total that counts up. A photo of your product can be a shot of its own.
  • The end card. Your name, a line in your brand color, your website, and your logo.
  • The cut and the sound. The shots in order and on time, plus a voice line if you want narration. Hook Studio notes the second where the beat should drop, so you can add a sound when you post.
  • The caption. A caption in your brand's voice, hashtags, a cover frame, and a posting checklist, all in the download.

Who this AI reels generator is for

Hook Studio is for people who need reels about something real: an app, a product, a shop, a service, or themselves. The AI hook stops the scroll, and the rest of the reel shows what you sell.

  • Apps and software. The hook shows the problem; your app's screens, a Slack thread, or a call card show it solved. The Callnest reel above is a salon's 9 PM call, answered.
  • Online stores. A believable selfie or a hand holding the product for the hook, then your product photo and an end card with your link. The Dew Theory reel is a day-1 skincare selfie.
  • Local businesses. A salon, a clinic, a restaurant, a realtor: a real-looking scene from your day, a chat with a client, and your address or booking link on the end card.
  • Coaches and experts. Upload a few photos and you star in your reels, with the same face in every shot. A talking clip says your line in one step, up to 8 seconds.
  • Creators. Paste a TikTok or Instagram link (5 credits) and the agent sees its frames and caption, so you can copy the format, not the content. Or start from an avatar or a face from the premade cast.

Realism: Instagram Reels and TikToks that don't look like AI

People scroll past reels that look like AI, so Hook Studio keeps every shot believable and spends AI video only where it earns its cost.

  • The right camera for each format. A selfie, a phone on the dashboard, a polished ad, a meme, or faceless screens: each shot is planned with who holds the camera and from where.
  • Natural faces. No stock-photo smiles or shocked faces. Expressions stay small unless you ask for more.
  • Text off faces. Before every render, Hook Studio finds the faces and moves the text out of the way.
  • Checked before you see it. Automatic realism checks look for AI tells, like warped hands or an absurd prop, on every shot, for a few credits each.
  • The same person in every shot. When you edit a still instead of starting over, the person, the light, and the scene stay the same. A saved avatar keeps one face across reels.
  • Labeled honestly. Every download comes with a reminder to turn on the AI label. TikTok and Instagram ask you to label realistic AI content.

AI reel maker vs. a one-clip AI TikTok video generator vs. editing in CapCut

A one-clip AI video generator gives you a few seconds of footage, and editing in CapCut gives you full control while you do every step. Hook Studio makes the clip, builds the reel around it, and takes your notes in a chat.

If you are looking for the best AI video generator for TikTok, first decide what you need: a clip to drop into your own edit, or a reel you can post. For a clip, a video model on its own is enough. If you like editing, CapCut lets you touch every frame. Hook Studio is for when you want the finished reel without doing the edit. Hook Studio is not affiliated with CapCut, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, or Kuaishou, the company behind Kling.

How to make a reel with AI in Hook Studio

  1. 1

    Describe the reel

Say what you sell, who it is for, and the idea, in English or Spanish. You can paste a TikTok or Instagram link to start from a format you like, upload photos of yourself or your product, or save your brand once (name, offer, voice, call to action, color) so every reel uses it.

  2. 2

    Confirm the plan

The agent lays out the shots and the price of each job. Nothing runs until you confirm.

  3. 3

    Approve the hook's still

The hook starts as a still, for 11 credits. Steer it in short lines like “too messy” or “no makeup in the kitchen shot”: the agent edits that still and keeps the person and the scene.

  4. 4

    Get the hook clip

From the still you like, the agent makes a 4 to 6 second clip on the model you picked (Kling 3 by default). If someone talks, the clip can use its own voice and stays at 8 seconds or less. A failed clip refunds its credits.

  5. 5

Get the reel and post it

The agent adds the text, your screens or a chat, the end card, and a voice line if you want one, then renders the reel for a few credits. You download the reel, the cover, and the caption with hashtags, and post it in TikTok or Instagram with a sound from their library.

How much one AI reel costs

A reel with a 5-second AI hook costs 107 credits for the still and the clip, plus a few credits for the render and the realism checks: about $1 on the Concept plan. The text, the screens, and the end card are not AI video, so they cost only render time. Each extra still you try costs 11 credits, and a clip is made only from a still you already like, so most of the savings come from fewer attempts. Plans are Concept ($20 a month, 2,300 credits), Grow ($50, 5,800), and Scale ($100, 11,500), or pay as you go from $5. Your first $5 costs $3 and gives you 500 credits, enough for three reels with a 5-second hook and a few extra stills.

What Hook Studio does not do yet

  • It does not post for you yet. You download the bundle and post in TikTok or Instagram yourself; direct posting is on the roadmap, and there is no scheduling.
  • Clips come back silent or with speech only. There is no generated music or ambient sound: you add a sound from the TikTok or Instagram library when you post, a voice line, or your own audio.
  • No voice cloning. A talking clip uses the video model's own voice, and a voice line uses one stock voice.
  • Talking clips stay at 8 seconds or less, because the model's voice drifts out of sync after that. A longer line is split across two shots.
  • AI clips are 4 to 10 seconds. Hook Studio uses AI video for the hook, not for a fully generated 20-second film.
  • No celebrity faces, and no real person's face without their consent. A famous name becomes a description of an original person.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI reel maker for Instagram?
The best AI reel maker for Instagram is one that gives you a finished reel to post, not a clip you still have to edit. Look for 9:16 output, text that stays off faces, your product on screen, and a caption. Hook Studio makes all of that in one chat, and a reel with a 5-second hook starts at 107 credits. If you only need a single clip for your own edit, a plain AI video generator may be enough.
Can AI make a reel about my product?
Yes, Hook Studio makes reels about your product with your product in them, not just AI scenes. Upload screenshots of your app or photos of what you sell: the agent opens with an AI hook, then shows your screens, a chat, a call, or your product photo, and ends on a card with your link. Save your brand once and its name, offer, voice, and color carry into every reel.
Do I need editing skills to make a reel with AI?
No, you describe the reel in plain words and the agent does the editing. You steer with short lines like “too messy” or “put the dinner shot first, it's a better hook”, and it changes only that. Trimming, joining, changing the speed, cropping to 9:16, and muting are free edits.
How much does one AI reel cost?
One reel with a 5-second AI hook costs about 107 credits plus a few for the render, roughly $1 on the Concept plan. If the person in the hook talks, it is 154. You see the price of each job before it runs, and a failed clip refunds its credits. Your first $5 costs $3.
Can Hook Studio post the reel to Instagram or TikTok for me?
Not yet: you download the reel and post it yourself in Instagram or TikTok. The download has the video, a cover, a caption with hashtags, the second where the beat should drop, and a posting checklist. Direct posting is on the roadmap, and there is no scheduling.
